On the 28th of April the 12 compositions selected by DYCE Call for Scores were performed in Tallinn, Oslo, Milan and Seville. After the concerts, the audiences and the musicians of the four ensembles voted four composers, one from each DYCE European region.

We are happy to announce the names of the four selected composers:
Juhani Vesikkala - Yellow region - Concert in Tallinn, Ensemble U:
Andreas Tsiartas - Blue region - Concert in Oslo, Cikada
Yiqing Zhu - Red region - Concert in Milan, Divertimento Ensemble
João Ceitil - Green region - Concert in Seville, Taller Sonoro

Congratulations to Juhani, Andreas, Yiquing and João for this further outcome!
And thanks again to the four ensembles, to our international audiences and to all 12 winners of DYCE competition for their participation in the event on the 28th of April.

DYCE project continues as the four selected composers will be each commissioned a new piece for ensemble, which will then be performed by the four ensembles in their home countries on different dates, in April/May 2020. Each composer will be invited to Milan, Oslo, Seville and Tallinn to attend the rehearsals and the concerts, working closely with the ensembles and the conductors.
After the four concerts, in May 2020, the four ensembles will record a CD, playing one score each, and the CD will be presented during DYCE final convention (June 2020).
